Sandy Butler - Musician

I was born in Bristol in 1986. I play lots of guitars and am trying to learn the accordion! I started playing piano when I was about 8, progressed to the double bass and finally was thrown into the world of rock and roll. I don’t consider myself to have too bad a taste in music considering my first CD was the Spice Girls! However it was my first album and so it must be kept. Other than Fischy stuff I teach guitar and produce recordings.

What is the most embarrassing song in your CD or iPod collection? Lolly (terrible kiddie-friendly pop star of 90’s).

Where do you like singing most? In my head.

What is your idea of musical heaven? Anything in Stereo.

What is your idea of musical hell? X-Factor.

Which instrument do you wish you could play? Djembe.

Which instrument are you most glad that you don’t play? Oboe.

Favourite song from primary school? If I Were A Butterfly.

Last song you cried to? Chopin.

Last song you danced to? Metallica.
