What's
the deal?
Fischy Music occasionally do 'one-off' assemblies, but their approach
is most effective working with individual or joint classes,
followed by an assembly/concert where the songs learnt by
each class or group are performed in front of everyone.
In the course of a school day, they can lead 3 separate
sessions (single or joint classes), plus an assembly/concert
at the end. Workshops usually last between 40 and 50 minutes.
Included in the fee is our current music pack, These Are Our Emotions,
worth £25.00. This comprises a music book with full
scores, words with copying permission, suggestions on
how to use the songs, and a CD with full and backing versions
of the songs. This will be sent to participating schools
prior to events, on receipt of a signed contract.

or to request printed information and a sample of our music.
How can you prepare
Where possible it is best to have a room or hall set aside, so
that our equipment can be set up and left, with classes
coming to the designated room.
We will require approximately half an hour to set up our
P.A. system for an assembly, but only a few minutes if taking
a class.
Plan in advance which classes will attend the workshops,
as it is not generally possible to see every class in the
school in the course of a day. Classes that don't attend
can still be part of an assembly at the end. |

If
you'd like some Fischy input for staff in your school, we run teacher training sessions either at the end of a day with the children, or as a 'one-off' after-school or afternoon session. We cover a variety of topics - contact us for more details. Check the what's on page for larger training events throughout the year.
