Songwriting for grief and loss concert

We are very excited to be working with St Columba’s Hospice (Edinburgh) in working in a local primary school raising awareness of the positive impact of Hospices as well as helping children who are facing both small and big changes and transitions in their lives. Over the last 2 months, we have written 3 songs on the theme of change with the staff from Victoria Primary school, a group of day patients from St Columba’s and a small group of children from Victoria.

These songs will be performed in the Hospice at a concert in front of other patients, doctors, nurses and some family of the children and patients. The children who visited the Hospice loved the experience, especially getting to write a song with the day patients.
