Total joy at our end-of-project concert with Abbeyhill Primary, friends and family and hosted by Meadowbank Church yesterday morning. The whole school was loving life, singing and dancing their way into the summer holidays.
We showcased two music videos up on the big screens of songs written and recorded by P4 and P6 this term.
- I Feel Free, written with P6 is a summer banger about how it feels to be a kid
- Deep Sea Diver, written with P4 is an imaginative dive into the ocean as a deep sea diver.
What a delight to see parents up in the balcony beaming, kids of all ages singing along, classes so proud of their work and teachers with the most massive smiles on their faces.
And we couldn’t think of a more life-affirming way to finish term than with P7, full of enthusiasm and completely unreserved, rushing up to lead the whole school in Stronger. Wowzers.
