Teacher Training

"2, 4, 6, 8, who do we appreciate?" / Special Kind of Heroes / © Fischy Music 2004
The purpose of our training is to equip adults working with children to use Fischy songs confidently and effectively in their work. We believe everyone can sing and that singing is hugely beneficial for all ages. Our aim is that participants leave our sessions with increased knowledge and skills in using Fischy resources to support children’s education across the curriculum.

Our training sessions often take place after a school day or as part of an event. We can also provide training to a school cluster or group. Most of our training is now online training sessions, so that travel doesn't have to be an issue and people can attend via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

We have a 5 minute video guide for Getting started with Fischy Music Online

"This course has given me more ways in which I can use the website to supporting learning topics, rather than just for assemblies."
Participant, Health & Wellbeing Training

"Sometimes it's lovely just to let the children have fun, but with your songs they are addressing a variety of issues at the same time. We frequently link your songs to our school values as well.”
Head Teacher

"Thank you for a wonderful training session. We love the site and the songs. It helped to see our school through lockdown and brought us all together even though we couldn't physically be together. Look forward to the new songs!"
Mrs O'Donnell, Teacher, Ellel St John's C of E Primary School
